About
About WHYBE'26
WHYBE'26 is an AI-driven hackathon hosted for the first time in GSV - a 10-hour sprint where teams of 4 design, build and ship with modern AI tools. Happening September 15, 2026, 8 AM – 6 PM.
Our story
WHYBE'26 is organized by TechnoCrats GSV, the campus technical community, to bring a genuinely AI-first hackathon experience to GSV for the first time.
Instead of a multi-day marathon, WHYBE'26 compresses everything into a focused 10-hour sprint - enough time to go from idea to a working, AI-powered build, without the burnout of a 24 or 36-hour format.
Every team ships with AI in the loop: copilots, agents, applied ML, or generative tooling - judged not just on the idea, but on how thoughtfully AI is used to build it.
